The campaign focuses on winning equity for Chicago residents, particularly South and West Siders, around Chicago's bid for the 2016 Olympics. The main areas of focus are affordable housing, jobs and economic development, and transportation. Chicago must have a real community process to ensure inclusion, accountability, and equity to working families in the city. Communities for an Equitable Olympics (CEO) 2016 is organizing to ensure that local community residents and workers have a real seat at the table.
