Healthcare Access in Lakeview

We have a healthcare crisis in the Lakeview neighborhood on the north side of Chicago. We continually hear stories from members of our community that do not have health insurance about experiences in which they receive bills from non-profit hospitals which are obligated to be providing charitable care in exchange for their tax exemptions. We are demanding that the hospitals in our community provide fiscal support and medical services for a Federally Qualified Health Center.
